Boot Charm Workshop | Learn Brick Stitch - Level 2

Learn brick stitch and leave with a boot charm made by you.

Join us for a 3-hour guided workshop where you’ll create your own beaded boot charm using Miyuki brick stitch.

You’ll learn how to use increases and decreases to shape the design, follow a bead chart and finish your piece with hardware so it’s ready to wear or attach to your favourite accessory.

Choose from the available colour combinations and make it your own.

• How to create a ladder-stitch as well as brick stitch
• How to increase and decrease to create a shaped design
• How to read and follow a brick-stitch bead chart
• Thread tension, needle and bead manipulation
• How to start and finish thread cleanly
• How to add hardware and complete your charm

• All workshops take place in central downtown Toronto. The exact location is listed alongside each date in the selection menu or if TBD, location will be sent to you 1 week before the event.

• Doors close when the workshop begins and late entry is not available

Good to know

• About Level 2: No brick-stitch experience is required, however, this workshop is best for anyone who has tried beadwork before or feels comfortable with detailed handwork. 

  If you’re completely new and want the easiest place to begin, start with our Level 1 workshops.

• We use small beads and fine needles, so bring your glasses if you use them for close-up work
